Machu Picchu + Huayna Picchu 2 Days

This tour begins with a visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, it is one of the favorite routes for travelers visiting Machu Picchu. It is one of the best options because on the way you can appreciate a visit to different archaeological sites of the Sacred Valley: Pisac and the fortress of Ollantaytambo, then we will take the train to the town of Machu Picchu.

The second day we will visit Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu, depending on your entrance schedule, first we will have to climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu, this can take up to 3 hours, then we can visit the citadel of Machu Picchu. You will have enough time to take pictures and videos.

Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

Our 2-day Machu Picchu Tour program starts at 8:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. (depending on the availability of the train we have from Ollantaytambo/Aguas Calientes).

We will pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time, and then transfer you to Ollantaytambo train station in private transportation, this trip will take us about 02 hours which will give us the option to make a couple of stops to appreciate the panoramic views offered by the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will also have the opportunity to appreciate different snow-capped mountains that are part of the famous Andes.

Arriving in Ollantaytambo you will have time to get to know this popular town, as many of the Inca houses are still intact, according to the train schedule you will board the tourist train that will take you to the town of Machupicchu (also known as Aguas Calientes).

At the train station a transfer will be waiting for you to take you to our lodging, then you will have free time to visit the town or maybe visit the thermal baths.

In the afternoon our guide will come to the lodge to give you all the details you need to know about the second day of our tour.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

This is the most important day of the tour, the day we arrive at one of the 7 wonders of the world. As we agreed with our guide the first night, you have two options to get to Machu Picchu.

Take the bus (30 minutes approx.) or walk to Machu Picchu (1h 20 minutes approx.).

First we will have to enter the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will not visit it, we will only go to climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu, after climbing and returning from Huayna Picchu, we will have 2 hours of guide in the citadel to enjoy and take the best pictures of Machu Picchu.
